Early this morning I couldn't sleep so by 5:00 am I found myself downstairs in the kitchen making coffee, going through some papers on the counter, trying to find a couple elusive Christmas gifts online and yes, updating my websites.
I love my recipe website and I love when I have time to post all the wonderful photos I've taken of the delicious foods, posting the recipes that I know my readers would love, posting recipes I hope to save and collect for my own daughters... but time constraints in my busy days mean most of my photos stay in files on the laptop and you never know even a quarter of the wonderful foods that are made.
I sometimes wonder if I was to start some hard campaigning and promotion for my website if I could get a corporate sponsor or even a food tv show to back me. I could hold contests, give away promotional bags, magnets and more. I could invest a lot of time and money into my website and see how far it can take me....
But then again, that would involve a little more time than I seem to have these days. The fact that I was up at 5:00 am to try to get a few things accomplished before my kids woke and the day begins is testament to the hectic schedule of a being busy Mom.
