I have done tried to do any diets or follow weight loss plans during the holidays but I can only imagine it's killer! All those delicious foods, goodies, candies and treats! Not to mention the parties were calorie laden drinks are served.
Although my husband and I are not doing any low carb w.o.e. plans right now I am in full support of those that do and want to add a few low carb recipes this month as I did in November. This one is for breading. It does use a store bought Carbquik mix, but spiced up a bit and used to lightly bread your chicken or fish, it's a keeper!
Low Carb 'Breading' for Chicken, Fish or Shrimp
2 c Carbquik
1 T kosher salt
1 T ground black pepper
1 T ground white pepper
1 T chili powder
1 T paprika, hot
1 T dried mustard
2 t dried thyme
