An American Housewife

The housewife behind the site is a busy wife and Mom

of three who sometimes is found working outside the home but most recently left my position at a beautiful historic museum in the Midwest to relocate with my husband to the South. I started baking and cooking by the age of three, when I received my first Easy Bake Oven and haven't stopped - (although I do use a full sized oven now and no longer bake with heat from a lightbub).

This site was born in 2006 when I decided to use it to save and store my favorite recipes and food photos. In time it grew a life of its own with many readers using it to find their favorite recipes, helps and hints as well as many marketing companies and corporations reaching thousands of consumers through sponsoring contests and offering products for review.
