The housewife behind the site is a wife and Mom

of three young adults. Sometimes found working outside the home but most recently left my position at a beautiful historic museum in the Midwest to relocate with my husband to the deep South.

This site was born in 2006 when I decided to use it to save and store my favorite recipes and food photos. In time it grew a life of its own. It's still my personal 'go to' site for my family's favorite recipes and my kids are starting to use it to find their 'favorite' recipes as well.

I don't always remember to take pictures of the food as I'm making it and I rarely have time to set up a 'photo-shoot' of the food to make it look glamorous like some other blogs do. I'm just a wife and Mom who shares my cooking adventures and recipes. Enjoy!
