September is Menopause Awareness Month

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Estroven.  The opinions and text are all mine.

In honor of September's Menopause Awareness Month, let's talk some quick basics about Menopause.  It's one of those topics women don't give much thought to until they are suddenly thrust into this new chapter of their lives and finding themselves hit with hot flashes, mood swings, sleeplessness and even weight gain.

As a wife and Mom, I've been so busy with 'life' and raising my kids, I hadn't given any thought to this topic.  But now that I'm in my mid-forties, I'm starting to take note.  Possibly prone to early menopause, it's a topic I may not want to think about, but as my body is already showing signs of easier weight gain, brain fog and a few more aches and pains, I know this too, is right around the corner.

One out of three women in the U.S. suffers from perimenopause and menopause symptoms, however nearly 60% of these women do not seek treatment because they are unaware of the solutions available to them.  There is a constant need for education!

While doing research on menopause, I found the biggest complaints by women are;
  • hot flashes and night sweats
  • sleeplessness
  • fatigue
  • mood swings and brain fog
  • weight gain

Estroven is not only launching a new, natural ingredient product, but has teamed up with fitness/personal trainer Deb Horn to create an 8-week workout plan designed specifically for women.  Estroven Weight Management brings together the benefits of the supplement paired with exercise, to give many women the relief and results they need.
