I guess it officially counts as 'food storage' although it was from the freezer and not our long term storage.
We had an appointment at 2:30 today so we left the house around 1:30. I thought we'd be home by 3:30 or 4:00 and I'd make homemade bread and Sloppy Joe's. The best laid plans, and all that.... we ended up there until 6:30! Got home at 7:00 pm - far too late to attempt homemade bread!
We had a few buns left over in the deep freezer, a container of ham slices also in the freezer (quickly microwaved to thaw) and the cheddar cheese was a block from the deep freezer I took out last week and thawed in the refrigerator to use. Heated everything up and served fast hot ham and cheese sandwiches.
Still no grocery trips since November 2023.
