Simple Christmas Cranberry Sauce
Everyone thinks of cranberries for Thanksgiving but they are so brilliant, so bright and so beautiful I certainly hope they are going to be served at everyone's Christmas holiday table! What could be more easy than throwing the ingredients into a saucepan and letting it cook? You can do it!
Christmas Cranberry Sauce
1 (12-ounce) package fresh or frozen cranberries
3/4 c sugar
2 t orange zest
1/2 c orange juice
1/4 c water
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened.
