Old Fashioned Can Sizes

If you are like me and love old church cookbooks or have a beloved family recipe from Great Grandmother just passed down to you; perhaps you've seen something that read;

.....
Butter, size of an egg
#2 can of milk
Dash of Salt

While we call can guesstimate the size of an egg for the butter, I remember before the internet, I wasted a lot of time flipping through old recipe books until I found one that listed can references sizes!  Now, it's easier to find of course.  The internet has made most things easier!  And without further adieu, here is a very detailed can reference chart.
