Chicken, Broccoli and Cheese Casserole

When it comes to ingredients, I think using broccoli paired with cheese and diced chicken in almost any way, shape or form is going to taste good. You can't go wrong! So whenever I see a dish that has these ingredients it catches my eye. This one is basically just like a million others 'out there' and versions of it are in almost every cookbook that features regular, every day foods, especially if it's one published as a fund raiser by a school or church group. A million people can't be wrong!



Chicken, Broccoli and Cheese Casserole



6 chicken breasts, cooked and diced

1 bunch fresh broccoli (or 2- 10 oz. pkg. frozen)

2 cups milk

2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

3/4 cup parmesan cheese


Cook broccoli and place in the bottom of a 9x13 prepared casserole dish. Heat the milk, cream cheese, salt, garlic powder and 1/2 c Parmesan cheese over low heat, stirring till the mixture is smooth. Pour 1 cup of sauce over the broccoli. Top with chicken and pour rest of sauce over it. Sprinkle the top with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.Print Friendly and PDF
